Those who know me, know that I've been involved with Bzz Agent for years. In fact, they had called me to do an interview with CBS Evening News at one point due to a whole bunch of campaigns I was doing, but the evil place that I was working at at that time wouldn't allow cameras in the building. So I sent them to my dear friend Devan and the rest is history (and Katie Couric even said her name!)
Anyway, now that I've joined the realms of the stay-at-home parents, I've decided to (a) put my writing degree to work and start blogging again, and (b) start actually trying to join more campaigns for Bzz Agent, since I'll have a whole new group of people to share products with (ie: C and E's playgroups).
I would be incredibly psyched to join the campaign for Cuisinart's Smart Stick since Devan (see said friend reference above) has been talking for years about her stick blender and I've yet to try one out. I have a Cuisinart food processor, but I really only like to pull that out for large jobs. If I had a stick blender, think how easy soups (and winter baby food for E) would be to make! And if I could get C to try more veggies (by sneaking them into soups), both me (and our pediatrician) would be thrilled.
So, how about it Bzz Agent? Let me try out the Smart Stick? C would appreciate not having to stir up our soup by hand any more....

MARRIED.
yes, that's true. we did it.
i couldn't imagine being happier with another human being.
work is actually really good lately. i'll be super busy for the next couple of weeks and then i'm off for a week for christmas. we'll be heading up to nyc for a couple of days to celebrate laura's birthday.
not much else on the horizon. just enjoying newlywed life and getting geared up for the holidays.

the knot dot com says....
19 days!?!?
i'm pretty ready for the wedding to be here and for us to be in jamaica...however, the most important thing right now is that everyone goes out and votes tomorrow!
I feel like I'll be holding my breath for the next 24 hours...

les than a hundred days to go...
we were up in Rhode Island this weekend doing a million things for the wedding. we managed to meet with the tux rental place, the florist, and I had my dress fitting, hair appointment and bridal shower the next day. The photo to the left is of me with my "towers-inspired" cake (which was very tasty on the inside).
i'm pretty much ready for November to be here, although we do have quite a bit to do before the big day. it's just a lot of details at this point. we're going to start printing the invitations soon and before we know it, it will be here.
life, in the non-wedding sense, is going really well. work is, and will always be, busy, but I'd much rather that than sitting around reading facebook all day. seriously.
that's all for now. someday, i will start writing eloquent, long, interesting posts. this, my friends, on the day that my brain is running incredibly slow (thank you stomach meds) is absolutely not that day.
